Reed Rubinstein joins Washington, D.C. law firm

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Reed D. Rubinstein, formerly of West Hartford, has joined the Washington, D.C. law offices of Dinsmore as a partner in the Corporate Department, focusing his practice on regulatory and federal advocacy matters, it was announced recently by Dinsmore managing partner, George Vincent.
“Reed’s knowledge of federal agencies, Congress and the D.C. market bring significant value to the firm,” said George Vincent, managing partner of Dinsmore. “His more than 25 years of experience in the regulatory industry, including work with Fortune 500 companies, make him a valuable asset to Dinsmore and our clients.”
Rubinstein, who lives in the D.C. area previously was senior counsel and Regulatory Committee executive at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, As the U.S. Chamber’s senior counsel for environment, technology and regulatory affairs, he worked closely with leading domestic and multinational companies, trade associations, Congress and federal agencies on critical regulatory, environmental, FDA and agricultural issues.

Prior to joining the U.S. Chamber, Rubinstein served as a shareholder in the Washington D.C. office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where he practiced environmental and administrative law, litigation, corporate and real estate law. He is regularly published and has spoken around the world on topics including regulatory trends, federal incentives for clean and alternative technologies, and occupational health regulations. Rubinstein earned his J.D., M.A. and B.A. from the University of Michigan.
