Lewis S. Sheketoff, 87, of Oregon, formerly of West Hartford, died Jan. 21. He was the husband of Sylvia (Cohen) Sheketoff. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Sade (Bloome) Sheketoff. He served in the Army Air Force as a mechanic during World War II. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Alan Charles (“Chuck”) Sheketoff; his daughter-in-law Naseem Rakha; his grandson Elijah Rakha-Sheketoff; and his sisters, Zelda Gersten and Gilda Brock, both of West Hartford. He was predeceased by his son Andrew Roy.
