Phyllis Barbara (Cooperberg) Kaufman, 87, of Madison, Conn., died Feb. 10. Born in Philadelphia, Penn., she was the daughter  of Gertrude (Weinstein) and Milton Cooperberg. She was founding member of Temple Beth Tikvah. She is survived by her children, Stephen C. (Judith) of Falmouth, Mass., Adam S. (Rebecca) of Westerly, RI, and Jonathan M. (Gretchen) of Alvin, Tex.; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Suzanne, Katherine, Isaac, Hannah, and Jacob; her brother Barry Cooperberg; and her three nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Barbara.
