Hyla Fern Goldstein Melnick, 91, of Worcester, Mass., died Nov. 14. She was predeceased by her husband Robert N. (“Bob”) Melnick. Born in Pittsburgh, Penn., she was the daughter of Saul and Fannie Ruth Goldstein. She is survived by her sons Richard P. Melnick and his wife Lynn Andrea Stein of Lexington, Mass., Kenneth S. Melnick and his wife Laura Schroder of Worcester, Mass., and Andrew D. Melnick of Denver, Colo.; her grandchildren, Sara, Miriam (Marc Howard), Joshua, Caroline, and Jacob Melnick; and her great-granddaughters, Kaylee and Alana Howard.
