A new film chronicling the World War II Kindertransport rescue operation of Sir Nicholas Winton.

On Monday, March 26, the Mandell JCC Hartford Jewish Film Festival (March 17-27) will screen “Nicky’s Family,” a new film chronicling the World War II Kindertransport rescue operation of Sir Nicholas Winton. In conjunction with that event, the JCC is seeking Connecticut residents, or their descendants, who were Czech or Slovak citizens rescued in the 1939 Kindertransport from Czechoslovakia to London. The stories may be used in educational materials and programs surrounding the film screening.
