Fran Sears Baratz, 102, died Nov. 1. She was the widow of Wilbur Baratz. Born in Norwich, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Emma Sears. She was also predeceased by her sister Sara Slosberg. She is survived by her sister Ruth Berlin and her husband Bert of West Hartford; her sons, Bruce, Robert and his wife Robin, and James and wife Donna; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
