Shulamith (“Shula”) S. Chernoff, 98, died May 10. She was the widow of Dr. Hyman M. Chernoff of New Haven. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Professor Zevi Scharfstein and Shoshana Goldfarb Scharfstein. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Dr. Naomi Charnott. She is survived by her children, Deborah, David, Jonathan, Daniel, and Joshua Chernoff.
