The Hartford Jewish Coalition for Literacy (HJCL) is actively recruiting volunteers to read one half hour per week for the upcoming school year with kindergarten through third-grade students in Bloomfield, East Hartford, Hartford, Manchester, and New Britain. Upcoming literacy training sessions on Wednesday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 19. HJCL is a program of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford.
