Lester Sharlach of Stamford, died July 16, just one week shy of his 91st birthday. He was the husband of Elaine Sharlach. Born in Stamford, he served in the Naval Reserve. He was a founding member of Jewish Historical Society of Fairfield County (JHS) in 1984. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jeffrey Sharlach, Brian Sharlach, and Debra Sharlach Rosner; his grandchildren, Molly, Benjamin and Jonah; and his great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Samuel.
