Ross S. Epstein, 86, of Florida, died March 29. He was the widower of Charlotte G. Epstein. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Solomon and Florence Epstein. He served in the United States Army where he played in the U.S. Army Band. He is survived by his daughters, Alison Giuliano and her husband Gene of South Hadley, Mass., Lauren Silvey of Charlottesville, Va., and Michelle Polychronopoulos and her husband Chris of Windham, N.H.; his grandchildren, Matthew Giuliano, Scott Silvey and Timothy and Olivia Polychronopoulos; and his longtime companion Helen Freeman. He was also predeceased by his brother Alvin Epstein of Dallas, Texas.
