Bringing down the house in Vilnius

Cantor Joseph Ness (left) of Beth El Temple in West Hartford and Cantor Daniel Mutlu of Central Synagogue in New York City receive an ovation from the full house in Vilnius at the conclusion of the historic concert combining the text from Elie Weisel’s Night and Ness’s recompositions of the music of Leib Glantz, one of the great cantors of the Golden Age of Chazzanut.
