BANDER

Brian Philip Bander passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 14, in Delray Beach, FL. He was 25 years old and lived in Glastonbury and Coventry. Brian was the beloved son of Jeffrey Bander and Carin Buckman and stepson of Ron Buckman. In addition to his parents, he was loved and is survived by his brothers Jason and Brien Buckman, his grandparents Art and Gail Siegel and Sylvia Bander, as well as many relatives and friends. A 2011 graduate of Glastonbury High School, he attended the University of Hartford, Manchester Community College and the University of South Florida. Brian was an entrepreneur who developed multiple successful ecommerce businesses while living in CT and in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He was a personal growth, online gaming, mountain biking, drumming, Magic: The Gathering and ping-pong enthusiast who wasn’t afraid to take risks and live life to the fullest. Brian’s family has no words to express their sadness and grief, but Brian left many at www.brianbander.com. A memorial service to celebrate Brian’s life was held on Jan. 27 at Beth El Temple in West Hartford. Donations in Brian’s honor may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at afsp.org.
