Boston’s Israel Folkdance Festival dances into its 43rd year

BOSTON, Massachusetts – The Israel Folkdance Festival of Boston will be held Sunday, March 10 at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium in Cambridge at 3 p.m., and will honor Abby Wolf. This year, the Festival welcomes 20 performing groups from Canada and Brazil, who will join dancers from all across the country’s eastern seaboard.

In a show of Jewish unity, the Festival’s finale is jointly choreographed by the Boston and Washington D.C. Israeli Dance Festivals symbolizing the strength and solidarity of the communities. Hundreds of dancers of all ages will dance together at the end of each festival in a moving final unified piece.
