AJC Westchester/Fairfield honors Stamford attorney

WHITE PLAINS, NY – Stamford attorney Michael J. Cacace, a founding partner of the law firm, Cacace Tusch & Santagata, was honored with the AJC Westchester/Fairfield County Judge Learned Hand Award at a dinner held Tuesday, Dec. 4 at the Ritz Carlton New York in White Plains, New York.

Westchester attorney David Worby, senior founding partner of Worby Vecchio & Edelman, also received the award.

In being presented their awards, the two attorneys were cited for their outstanding work in the legal field as well as for their philanthropy and community service.

This is the eighth year that AJC Westchester/Fairfield will be presenting the award, which is the organization’s most prestigious recognition of excellence bestowed upon members of the legal profession.

The AJC established the Learned Hand Award in 1964 to cite leaders in the legal profession for excellence and for their contributions to the legal community.

Nearly 150 guests, including judges, officials and diplomats, were on hand to pay tribute to the honorees which, in addition to dinner, featured a mock Moot Court debate on Executive Power and DACA: Execution or Excess? Oral Advocates include David Katona, Esq., of Katona & Mir LLP and Marc Stern, AJC General Counsel. The honorees served as the judges for the debate.
