Clara (Weintraub) Scholnick, 96, of West Hartford, formerly of Detroit, Mich. and Aventura, Fla., died April 30. She was the widow of Theodore (Ted) Scholnick. Born in Detroit, MIch., she was the daughter of the late Rachel and Abraham Weintraub. She is survived by her children, Phyllis and Sidney Ulreich, Mark Scholnick, Martha and Joseph Stewart, and Abby and Craig Rubenstein; her grandchildren, Alisa and Jonathon Gellis, Debbie and Benjamin Waltuch, Tzvi-Elie and Yedid-El Scholnick, Elie and Ariel Stewart, Shayni and Levi Stewart, Jacob and Jessica Rubenstein; and her great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Joe Klein, Talya, David and Maayan Gellis, Leora, Adira, and Ari Waltuch, and Sloan Stewart.
