The artwork of Bloomfield resident Beth Goldberg has been chosen to appear in the 2018-19 calendar of the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism. Three works by Goldberg were selected following the Women’s League’s open call for original works of art celebrating Conservative Judaism’s centennial. Submitted artwork was required to incorporate the Hebrew letter “kuf,” which carries a numerical value of 100.

A popular speaker on the subject of art, Goldberg is an Artist Elect at the West Hartford Art League. Her work has been exhibited in Connecticut, New York and Washington, D.C. In addition, her paintings are included in several prestigious collections, including that of the Dupont Corporation. Her painting, “Keeping the Beat,” was a winner in the National Platform Show in the special Category of Mixed Media and was exhibited all across the country.

Active in the Hartford area Jewish community, Goldberg currently serves as Sisterhood vice president at The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford, where she also sings with the congregation’s choir.
