Lisa Wexler

WESTPORT – Connecticut Press Club has awarded Lisa Wexler, creator and host of “The Lisa Wexler Show,” First Place for Best Radio Talk Show, featuring an award for Best Monologue and Interview on the subject of how one woman ended up in jail in Connecticut for not paying her mortgage. Wexler was also awarded Second Place for Radio Talk Show Interview for her conversation with Linda McMahon, former U.S. Senate Candidate and Co-founder of the WWE; and Third Place for General Non-Fiction Book for “Secrets of a Jewish Mother,” co-authored with her mother, Gloria Kamen, and her sister, Jill Zarin.
“We are very proud of all that Lisa has accomplished,” said Mike Raub, program director of 1400WSTC/1350WNLK. “Her show brings local, important and topical information to the people of Fairfield County and beyond, and we are very happy that she is being acknowledged for her contributions to the community.”
Wexler’s talk radio show airs Monday – Thursday from 4 – 6 p.m. on Coxradio’s AM 1400 WSTC/ 1350 WNLK airing in Fairfield County.
