Michael Steven Hankin, 62, of Meriden, died Oct. 23. Born in Raleigh, N.C., he was the son of Dr. Lester Hankin of Hamden (formerly of Norwich) and the late Selma (Abrams) Hankin. In addition to his father, he is survived by his sisters, Ellen Hankin and her husband Aaron Johnson of Denver, Colo., and Carol Batchman of Weymouth, Mass.
