Lazar Szabo, 96, of Southbury, died Sept. 18. He was the widower of Katherine Szabo. He was a Holocaust survivor. He is survived by his children, Denise Hahn and her husband Paul of Somers, N.Y., and Ronald Szabo and his wife Deborah of West Hartford; his grandchildren, Daniel Szabo, Aaron Hahn, Ross Hahn and Carrie Szabo; and his great-granddaughter, Harper Hahn.
