Sneak Preview of INDIGNATION in Greenwich

GREENWICH – JCC Greenwich is hosting a sneak preview of Indignation, a new film starring Logan Lerman and Sarah Gadon on Tuesday, July 12, 7 p.m., at Bow-Tie Cinemas in Greenwich. The film opens in New York City theaters on July 29. Written and directed by James Schamus, based on Philip Roth’s novel, Indignation is set in 1951, as Marcus Messner (Logan Lerman), a brilliant working class Jewish boy from Newark, New Jersey, travels on scholarship to a small, conservative college in Ohio, thus exempting him from being drafted into the Korean War. Once there, Marcus’s growing infatuation with his beautiful classmate Olivia Hutton (Sarah Gadon), and his clashes with the college’s imposing Dean, Hawes Caudwell (Tracy Letts), put his and his family’s best laid plans to the ultimate test.

Tickets are $12, and available exclusively at jccgreenwich.org. Bow-Tie Criterion Cinema is located at 2 Railroad Avenue, Greenwich. To see a trailer of the film, visit www.indignationfilm.com.

Also on the JCC Greenwich Davis Film Festival calendar are “Atomic Falafel” (June 15) and “Fauda” (June 17).
