Netanyahu to meet with Putin in Moscow

(JNS.org) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to Moscow next week to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, just a month after a similar visit to Russia by Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. Netanyahu and Putin will discuss the Syrian civil war, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and other issues. Before Russia recently began pulling its troops out of Syria, the Russian and Israeli militaries had established a mechanism to avoid inadvertent clashes near the Israel-Syria border.
