Samuel M. Bader, 90, of Fairfield, died Sept. 19. He was the husband of Betty (Poritzky) Bader. He was born in Bridgeport. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a founding member of Congregation Beth El in Fairfield. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Linda Lazinger, Alan Bader, Diane Bader Anderson, and Randi Gelbard, their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
