­WEST HARTFORD – Julie Alfin has joined the Mandell JCC as the corporate relations and business development director.

“We are excited to have Julie on board during such a pivotal time at the Mandell JCC,” stated David Jacobs, executive director of the Mandell JCC. “We’re coming to a close on our Centennial year, and with it, we’re looking towards the future and the growth of our agency, as well as new opportunities to connect with the community. Julie will be instrumental in creating those opportunities, and fostering growth.”

Alfin was born and raised in West Hartford and attended Hall High School. She is an alumna of the University of Arizona. She has experience in both the corporate and non-profit fields, having previously worked for International Law Firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP; God’s Love We Deliver, a non-profit organization; as an event planner; and most recently as the membership and marketing manager at The Hartford Club.

She is a member of Beth El Temple.
