Irving Neitlich (Papa), 98, of Stamford died August 15. He is the widower of Helen Barth Neitlich. Born in Boston, Mass., he was the son of Ida Price Neitlich and Israel Neitlich. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, as a machinist stationed in Aberdeen, Md. During his service, he received a Good Conduct Medal and was awarded an Individual Citation for meritorious service as an instructor. He was an active member of the Board of Congregation Agudath Sholom of Stamford, serving as its second president. He is survived by his children, Sharyn Neitlich Baer and her husband Fred, and Jerry Neitlich and his wife Merry; his grandchildren, Jodi Hadge and her husband Shane, Ronni Bass, Andrew Baer, Scott Neitlich and his wife Barbara, and Abby Rappoport and her husband Benji; and his great-grandchildren, Sara, Alexandra, Danielle, Ariella, Leah and Toby.
