Yakov Berenstein, 70, of Stamford died June 7. He was the husband of Oldga Berenstein. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, he was the son of Zurach and Gitel Berenshteyn. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Marina Medvedev and her husband Paul Medvedev; his grandchildren, David and Michael and Rusana Kasriel; and his niece. He was also predeceased by his brother, Michael.
