Harold Levitz, 96, formerly of Fairfield, died Sept. 7. He was the widower of Mildred (Berkowitz) Levitz. Born in New York, he was the son of the late Hyman and Anna (Mittleman) Levitz. He is survived by his children, Joel Levitz of Milford, and Stuart Levitz of Orange; his grandchildren, Elicia, Adam, Scott, Michael, Jaime, Daniel, Chaim, Shimmie, and Avi; and his great-grandchildren, Anabel, Savannah, Daisy, Ryan, Sydney, and Austin. He was also predeceased by his son, Steven Levitz of Detroit, Mich., and his sister, Sylvia Grill. ROBERT E. SHURE FUNERAL HOME
