Leonard Saffir, 85, of Wellington, Fla., formerly of West Hartford, died June 23. He was the widower of Beverly Saffir. Born in Biddeford, Me., he was the son of the late George A. and Fannie (Lifshitz) Saffir. He was also predeceased by his sister Norma (Saffir) Glassman and her husand George. He is survived by his children, Linda Mendelsohn and her husband Herbert, and Kenneth Saffir and his wife Julie; and his grandchildren, Jaimee Newman and her husband Matt, Lauren Sharkey and her husband Peter, Gregory Zuboff, Robin Saffir and Alex Mendelsohn; and his brother-in-law and sisters–in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephew.
