Lois Kaufman Strauss of West Hartford, formerly of Wethersfield, has died. She was the wife of Mervyn Strauss. Raised in Worcester, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Karl Kaufman and Tiny Bodlander Kaufman. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kathy M. Strauss and her husband G.C. Schow of Woodbridge, Vir., and Alan M. Strauss and his wife Lisa; her granddaughters, Stephanie Rosen of Los Angeles, Calif., and Jennifer Strauss of Kensington, Md.; and her brother-in-law, Morton Fine. She was also predeceased by her brother, Dr. Joseph Jerome Kaufman of Los Angeles, Calif, and her sister-in-law Frances Kaufman Fine of West Hartford and Bloomfield. WEINSTEIN MORTUARY
