Purim surprises in West Hartford

SONY DSCHoffman SummerWood residents Miriam Lederman (left) and Santina Ernst (right) were among the residents of Hoffman SummerWood who donned costumes and masks, and kicked up their heels, to celebrate Purim one recent afternoon at the West Hartford assisted living center. Family members were also invited to enjoy the festivities, which included music by the popular Klezmen band, as well as treats like hamantaschen.
