Elaine (Lewenthal) Sklar, 90, of Bloomfield, formerly of Queens, N.Y., died Dec. 31. She was the widow of Gerald Sklar. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Meyer and Eva Lewenthal. She is survived by her sister Judi and her husband Ellis Mayer of Bloomfield; her nephew Howard Mayer and his wife Kathy Rosol of Windsor; her nieces, Lori Middleton and her husband Joe of Torrington and their children, and Robie Cole and her husband Sid and their children. She was predeceased by her brother, Sy Lewenthal.
