Thanksgiving in Bloomfield

On Sunday, Nov. 24, Beth Hillel Synagogue of Bloomfield hosted the town’s annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Services. Along with Beth Hillel and B’nai Tikvoh-Sholom of Bloomfield, five town churches and the town’s Farmington Valley American Muslim Center also participated in the service. Bloomfield Mayor Syd Schulman and Rep. David Baram presented proclamations from the Town and the State of Connecticut. Attendees brought non-perishable food items for the Bloomfield Food Bank and donations benefitting the Bloomfield Social Services Community Action Programs were collected.
