Choosing to give

Each year, the students in Youth Education Program of Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford raise tzedakah money that they donate to non-profit organization of their own choosing.  This year, the students voted to present their donations of $400 each to Hebrew Health Care in West Hartford and Leket Israel, the Jewish state’s national food bank.
