On Sunday, May 5, Beth El Temple was transformed into a mini-version of the land of Israel that allowed the shul’s religious school students to “tour” the Jewish state. Armed with “passports,” the students boarded an “airplane” and took off on their adventure. Among their stops: a Tel Aviv café, a Bedouin tent; the Tzfat artist colony; the Dead Sea and the Kotel in Jerusalem’s Old City.
