Carin Buckman

HARTFORD – Carin Buckman of West Hartford has been appointed director of marketing and communications for Leadership Greater Hartford, it was announced recently by the organization’s president, Ted Carroll.
Buckman comes to the organization with a broad background of marketing communications experience, ranging from corporate marketing for a $250 million corporation to working for a statewide nonprofit. Most recently, she was owner of her own firm offering marketing communications consulting services to a variety of nonprofit clients.
“Beyond her skills, experiences and accomplishments, Carin impressed us with her enthusiasm for our mission,” said Carroll in announcing Buckman’s appointment. “She gets what Leadership Greater Hartford is about and wants very much to play a big role in our future success.”
Leadership Greater Hartford is a nonprofit community leadership providing leadership training, with a community service component, to participants ranging from high school age to retirees.
