Members of the Westport Hadassah Media Club settled in for a private screening of “The Devil’s Arithmetic” at the home of Claudia Cohen on Tuesday, Feb. 8. The 1999 film based on the historical novel of the same name by Jane Yolen tells the story of a Jewish-American teen who isn’t much interested in her family’s religious tradition until she travels back in time to a 1942 Nazi concentration camp and learns of the horrors of the Holocaust.
