Jerry Julius Rubin, 83, of Hamden, died Feb. 22. He was the husband of the late Cristina Gonzalez. He was born in Englewood, N.J. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving on the battleship USS New Jersey. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey Rubin of Wallingford, Brian Rubin of Lancaster, Penn., and Marshall Rubin of New York City; his grandsons, David and Evan;
and daughters-in-law, Carmencita (Menchu) and Nilza; and his first wife, Selma Goldberg of Hollywood, Fla.
