BOARDMAN
Sol Boardman, 94, of West Hartford, died Oct. 3. He was the husband of Helen Silver Boardman. He was the son of Gussie and Hyman Boardman. He was a veteran of World War II, for which he received a Purple Heart. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Lynn Mitchell and her husband, Bob of The Villages, Fla., and Leonard Boardman and his wife, Stef of Calabasas, Calif.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Maron, Jillian Boardman, Michael Boardman and his wife, Smadar; his great-grandchildren, Jake, Samuel and Abigail; his brother, Murray and sister-in-law Linda; his brother-in-law Jake Fagin; and his sister-in-law, Ellie Boardman; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ed and Barbara Silver. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Dorothy Silver, sister-in-law Roz Fagin, brother, Irving Boardman, and sister and brother-in-law, Hannah and George Savage.
