Seeing the sights in Israel
(JNS.org) Despite rising violence and uncertainty in the region, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism announced a record number of visitors over the past year, Israel Hayom reported.

3.5 million tourists visited Israel, up 3 percent from last year.

$4.5 billion was received in revenue from tourists, up 10 percent from last year.

24 percent increase in cruise ship visitors — the area of the greatest growth.

18 new hotels are expected to begin construction shortly.

300,000+ tourists are expected to visit Israel during the upcoming High Holidays.
