In the coming months, the Jewish Ledger plans to take a look at Connecticut’s nine Federations — the agencies and programs they help fund; how they allocate their resources; their response to national trends…and more.   To put our discussion in its proper perspective, we begin here with a quick glance at the towns covered by each of these nine Federations.  [Note:  In a few cases, a town bordering two Federation “territories” was claimed by each.
For purposes of simplification, we took the liberty of assigning the town to one Federation or the other. Towns shaded in gray are “unclaimed.”]
