Irving Joseph Rosenberg, 91, of Newington died July 7. He was the husband of Miriam Rosenberg. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Ada and William Rosenberg. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Sergeant Major and a member of the Military Police. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Stuart E. Rosenberg and his wife Mary Lynn of Bristol, his daughter Sharon Gorlick Royer and her husband Peter of West Hartford; his sister Charlotte Saportin; his grandchildren, Ean Gorlick, Alicya-Megan Suffish and her husband Max, Ellen Rosenberg, and William Southall; and his great grandchildren, Taylor and Jayden Suffish He was also predeceased by his sisters Sophie Irwin and her husband Archie, and Ethel Levine and her husband Edward, and his brother-in-law George Saportin.
