Dr. Richard Allen Goodman died at Brigham and Women’s Hospital Feb. 3. Born in Pittsfield, Mass., he was a Captain and dentist in Westfield’s Air National Guard, which deployed to Phalsbourg, France in 1961. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Diane (Izenstein) Goodman; three sons, Gary Goodman and his wife Abby, Glenn Goodman and his wife Benedicta Masawe, and Steven Goodman and his wife Tracy Pearson Goodman; seven grandchildren, Pearson, Alec, Hadley, Yasmin, Kane, Chase and Charlotte; and  and his sister, Joan Katz of Longmeadow, Mass.
