Bruno Goldschmidt, 89, of Stratford, died January 25. Born in Darmstadt, Germany, he was the son of the late Solly and Clara Goldschmid. He was a proud Veteran, having served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, and U.S. Army reserves. He was predeceased by his wife, Eileen Ruth Portman Goldschmidt. He is survived by a son, Martin Goldschmidt and his wife, Kathleen, of Huntington, Conn.; a brother, Stephen Goldschmidt and his partner, Jeanne; several nephews, and grand dogs, Dewie and Daisy.
