Ira Louis Kowarsky, 76, of Springfield, Mass., died Sept.19. Born in Springfield, Mass., he was the son of Sidney Kowarsky and Martha (Waldman) Kowarsky. He is survived by his children, Jennifer Kowarsky Mantzios, and Jeffrey Kowarsky and his wife Amy, both of Agawam; his grandchildren, Damianos Georges Mantzios, Tessa Rae Kowarsky, and Brody Sayle Kowarsky; his sisters, Sherrie (Kowarsky) Ebyam of Willits, Calif., and Janie (Kowarsky) Rosen of Bryn Mawr, Penn.; his maternal aunt Ruth (Waldman) Shecrallah; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews and long term friendships.
