The Zamir Chorale of Boston will hold auditions for all voice parts on: 

Tuesday, September 13 and 20, 7 p.m. at Temple Beth Shalom, 670 Highland Ave, Needham.

Auditions are by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance by emailing manager@zamir.org; include your voice part, proof of full COVID vaccination* (scanned copy of card), and your phone number.

Please arrive by 7:00 pm; rehearsals begin at 7:15 pm. (required for all those who audition.) Auditions will take place immediately following rehearsals and conclude no later than 10 pm.

All singers must wear a mask to rehearsal and audition. We recommend KN95 or N95, covering nose and mouth. 

Candidates should have excellent vocal quality, the ability to sight-read music, and previous choral experience.

Rehearsals throughout the year are generally held on Tuesdays, from September to early June, at Temple Reyim, 1860 Washington St., Newton, from 7:15 to 10:00 pm.

This season’s repertoire includes a concert of “Halleluyah” and a celebration of the 400th anniversary of the publication of Salamone Rossi’s “Ha-shirim Asher Lishlomo.”
