Suzanne Schiff Gallant, 82, of California, formerly of New Haven, Conn., died June, surrounded by her family after a valiant battle with cancer. She was the widow of Murray Gallant. Born in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Betty and Herbert Schiff, and grew up in Columbus, Ohio. She and her husband were among the founders of Temple Beth David in Cheshire. She is survived by her children, Deborah and her husband, Jon, and Eric and his wife, Janet; three grandchildren Nate, Noah, and Amy; and a sister, Jane. She was predeceased by a sister, Patti.
