Cecile Plotkin of Itahca, N.Y., died June 20, just weeks shy of her 93rd birthday. She was the widow of Edward Plotkin. Born in Worcester, Mass., she was the daughter of Julius and Sarah Hurvitz.  and sister to Rosalind Hurvitz. She served on the board of directors of Temple Sinai. She is survived by her children Scott and his wife Amy, Jonathan and his wife Barbara, and Martha and her husband Darren; her grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, Emma, Ben and Lily; and several cousins.
