Malcolm (“Mickey” or “Mike”) Leon Grogins, of Stamford , Conn. and Delray Beach, Fla., died June 20. He was the widower of Ann Susan Levanda Born in Stamford, he was the son of the late Herman and Anna (Kerbel) Groginsky, He served in the U.S. Navy on the ship the New Jersey, the most decorated battleship in U.S. history, during the Korean War. He is survived by his children, Saraa Adelson and her husband James of Woodmere, N.Y., Deborah Metviner and her husband Neil of Stamford, and David A. Grogins of Stamford; his grandchildren, Amanda (Scott) Schimmel of New York City, Aaron Metviner of Stamford and New York City, Zachariah (Tamar) Adelson of Jerusalem, Israel; his great-granddaughters, Scarlett Fire and Devyn Rose Schimmel of New York City; his sister Belle Cohen of Middlebury, CT; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Albert Groginsky and Robert Grogins.
