Michael E. Friedman, 72, has died. He was the husband of Nancy Apthorp. Born in New London, he was the son of Sara and Herman Friedman. He was the sibling of Aaron Friedman and Ruthann Friedman Mandelbaum. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Sam Friedman; his step-children, Kyle and Tyler Klewin, and Ashley McAuliffe; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
