Dr. Simon Epstein, 87, of Stamford, died Sept. 20. He wa the widower of Patricia Marlowe Epstein. He attended Yale University and graduated from New York University School of Medicine. In addition to his private psychiatric practice, he was associate medical director of the Child Guidance Center of Southern CT, past president of the Connecticut Psychiatric Society, and Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon Epstein and her husband Edward Dzubak, and Joanne Owens and her husband Douglas; and his brother Abram.
