Toddlers in the Mandell JCC’s Beatrice Fox Auerbach Early Childhood Center in West Hartford were treated to an afternoon playing in the snow…and they didn’t even have to don their snow suits and snow boots. The kids’ inventive teachers filled a big tub with the cold, fluffy stuff brought in from their snow-filled outdoor playground…and let the children go to it! The activity was loads of fun, as well as a learning experience: Hold the snow too long, the children learned, and it melts right in your hands!
